WHITE OILS ISO15 BP80 & ISO68 BP350

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

White Oils are meticulously processed mineral oils characterized by their high level of refinement. They primarily comprise of saturated aliphatic and alicyclic non-polar hydrocarbons. These oils are inherently hydrophobic, meaning they repel water, and possess virtually no color, taste, or odor. Importantly, their color remains consistent and stable over time.

FOOD STATUS

White Oils meet or pass the requirements of US FDA regulations 21 CFR 172.878 and 178.3620(a) for direct food contact, and the purity requirements of the British Pharmacopoeia monograph “Liquid Paraffin” and the United States Pharmacopeia monograph “Mineral Oil”.

APPLICATION

Pharmaceutical and food applications, including petroleum jelly manufacture, dough dividing, defoamer, bakery pan oils, coating for fruit and vegetables, egg shell sealants and as a bases for ointments, suntan lotions and baby oils.

Other applications include food machinery lubricants, as a dehydration release agents, as a plasticisers, in hot melt adhesives, insulation applications, compressor oil applications, textile processing, and as fibre, plastics and resin processing aids.

White Oils has a shelf life of up to two years from the date of manufacture, provided it is stored in a closed container away from heat and moisture.
