PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
SYNPLUS DL-1 5W/30 represents a top-tier, fully synthetic engine oil engineered to deliver exceptional performance for modern diesel engines. This oil leverages state-of-the-art oil formulation and additive technology to provide the highest level of engine protection while simultaneously enhancing fuel efficiency.
Designed as a stable, stay-in-grade oil, SYNPLUS DL-1 5W/30 is compatible with both catalyst and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) systems. It’s engineered for extended oil change intervals in car and light van diesel engines. These engines are specifically designed to take advantage of this low-friction, low-viscosity oil, featuring a High Temperature/High Shear Rate (HTHS) viscosity of at least 2.9mPa.s.
SYNPLUS DL-1 5W/30 complies with the Japanese (JASO M355:2005 & M355:2017) DL-1 performance standard. This standard expands upon the existing DH-1 classification for diesel engines, recognizing the distinct requirements of passenger car light diesel engines, as well as truck and bus diesel engines when utilizing fuel with a maximum sulfur content of 0.005%. In addition to the established benchmarks for engine detergency, wear prevention, and overall performance, this oil meets the specific requirements for reducing soot buildup (a contributor to DPF clogging) and limiting oil constituents that may hinder catalyst performance.
