Designed as a reliable, stay-in-grade oil compatible with catalyst systems, Synplus ACEA C4 5W/30 is ideally suited for use in extended drain intervals in diesel engines of cars and light vans. These engines are specifically engineered to leverage the advantages of this low-friction, low-viscosity oil, boasting a high-temperature/high-shear rate (HTHS) viscosity of at least 3.5 mPa.s.
Compliant with the 2016 edition of the ACEA C4 and C3 specifications, this oil goes beyond the call of duty with improved sludge-handling capabilities. This enhances its suitability for extended oil change intervals and also contributes to the prolonged life of exhaust system components, including diesel particulate filters and three-way filters.
Synplus ACEA C4 5W/30 is tailored for use in passenger car and light van diesel engines running on fuel with a maximum sulfur content of 0.05%.
