SYNTHETIC COMPRESSOR OILS (ISO 32 – 220)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Synthetic Compressor Oils represent a state-of-the-art solution. These oils are meticulously crafted, being entirely synthetic and devoid of zinc, ash, and wear-inducing elements. They are a blend of sophisticated PAO (Polyalphaolefin) base stocks and esters, which exhibit an exceptionally high viscosity index and a low pour point.
These oils not only promise an extended, trouble-free service life but also maintain their chemical stability even when subjected to the harshest operational conditions. They excel in safeguarding against corrosion, preventing emulsification, and resisting the formation of unwanted, stable foam.
Given the ongoing trend towards higher compressor system pressures and the shrinking sizes of pumps and equipment, the lubricants employed must meet ever-increasing performance demands. Compressor oils are required to work diligently, lubricating, sealing, and cooling vital components amid rising temperatures, turbulence, and pressures. The continuous need for sustained performance across extended service intervals drives the ongoing advancement of additive systems.
Synthetic Compressor Oils are engineered to meet these exacting requirements. They harness the power of synthetic polyalphaolefin-based oils and esters, enriched with performance-enhancing additives. This includes a specialized ashless multifunctional additive package, purpose-built to combat oxidation, rust, and wear, even under the most extreme pressures and temperatures. These oils are the ideal choice to meet the evolving challenges of modern compressor systems.
BENEFITS
- The performance benefits of these formulations include:
- Outstanding thermal and hydrolytic stability, ensuring reliable performance even in high-temperature and water-exposed environments.
- Exceptionally high oxidation stability, which extends the overall service life of the oil.
- Good demulsibility and anti-foam properties, preventing undesirable water-oil mixtures and foam formation.
- High load-carrying capacity, resulting in excellent extreme pressure (EP) performance.
- Superior corrosion protection for both steel and non-ferrous metals.
- Efficient filterability, reducing the likelihood of filter blockage.
- Reduced pump wear, enhancing the durability of compressor equipment.
