LONG LIFE COOLANT GREEN
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Long Life Coolant Green is an exceptional formulation combining organic long-life corrosion inhibitors with ethylene glycol, meticulously engineered to deliver top-tier corrosion protection and anti-freeze/anti-boil safeguards. This versatile coolant is suitable for an extensive array of engines, including those in light commercial and passenger vehicles, heavy-duty commercial and industrial machinery, on-highway vehicles, marine vessels, mining equipment, and stationary applications.
BENEFITS
• Significantly extends the interval between coolant changes.
• For passenger vehicles and light commercial transporters: up to 250,000 km or 5 years, whichever comes first.
• For heavy-duty vehicles: up to 1,000,000 km or 6 years or 12,000 hours (with the use of high-quality water and proper product application).
• Provides exceptional anti-freeze/anti-boil protection.
• Minimizes the volume of spent coolant requiring disposal.
• Ensures peak reliability and lifespan of the water pump, thanks to its silicate-free composition.
• Maximizes protection for all metals commonly present in the engine cooling system.
• Offers outstanding defense against cavitation and liner pitting.
• Enhances fuel efficiency by maintaining the engine at its optimal operating temperature.
• Guards against the formation of scale, rust, and residue buildup.
• Formulated, tested, and manufactured in Türkiye, tailored to withstand Türkiye environmental conditions.
• Surpasses the performance and specification requirements outlined below:
All major engine manufacturers for passenger, truck and machinery applications.
ASTM D-1384, D-1881, D-2809, D-2570, D-1287, D-1121, D-3634, D-4340
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before treatment, pre-clean the cooling system by:
Draining the existing coolant and chemically cleaning the system to remove any rust, dirt, oil and built up residue. Use Vesta Radiator Flush to clean the system effectively and thoroughly.
Initial Dosage
Long Life Coolant Green can be dosed at 33% or 50% v/v with clean soft water. The dosage rate will depend on the level of freeze protection required
Anti-freeze / Anti-boil Protection
Long Life Coolant Green | Water | Freeze Protection | Boil Protection * |
1 part | 1 part | -37°C | 129°C |
1 part | 2 parts | -20°C | 121°C |
*with a 103 kPa radiator pressure cap
Preventative Maintenance
Never top up with water as this will dilute the coolant. Always top up with Long Life Coolant Green mixed with clean, soft water.
Passenger Vehicles
There is no requirement to replenish inhibitor during the life of the coolant. Coolant should be drained and replaced within 5 years or more often in adverse conditions
Heavy Duty Diesel Vehicles
These vehicles do not require the coolant to be re-dosed at regular intervals or replacement of expensive Water filters. The performance period is 1,000,000km / 12,000 hours or 6 years, whichever comes first. Top up with Long Life Coolant Green mixed as described above if fluid is lost.
Consult your Vesta representative if clarification is required.
