PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Universal CVT Transmission Fluid is a premium synthetic fluid meticulously crafted for use in a diverse range of vehicles equipped with Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVTs).
CVTs come in two varieties: chain-driven and belt-driven, both relying on a torque converter where significant metal-to-metal contact takes place. It is essential to maintain specific friction characteristics to ensure optimal power transfer from the engine to the wheels.
The friction generated in this process can be highly detrimental, potentially leading to a decline in the performance of lubricants. To ensure a trouble-free and extended operational life, lubricants must excel in key areas such as anti-shudder properties, shear stability, resistance to foaming, antioxidation, and scuff resistance.
Universal CVT Transmission Fluid has been engineered to possess precisely tuned metal-to-metal friction characteristics, aiming to maximize the efficiency of the torque converter. Additionally, it boasts outstanding anti-shudder and anti-scuffing qualities, ensuring the viscosity properties of the lubricant remain intact.
Notably, this transmission fluid exhibits remarkable anti-foaming properties, enabling more efficient power transmission while minimizing lubricant oxidation and component wear. This results in an extended fluid lifespan, typically reaching up to 30,000 kilometers.

Universal CVT Transmission Fluid is NOT suitable for certain types of CVTs including Ford and Toyota Hybrid CVT (which require an ATF) and Mitsubishi and Hyundai/Kia CVT requiring SP-III fluids.
