PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Gear Oil 75W/85 GL-4 is a specialized API GL-4 gear lubricant designed for specific applications, including manual transmissions, transaxles, automotive axles with hypoid gears under low to moderate loads, and spiral bevel gears operating at moderate to severe loads. This low-viscosity product is engineered to address two key concerns: preventing shift baulking in cold temperatures and reducing excessive noise during high-temperature conditions.

Gear Oil 75W/85 GL-4 is specifically designed to provide improved:

• Oil seal life due to seal compatibility
• Durability due to excellent EP performance
• Corrosion protection of yellow metals under both wet and dry conditions
• Demulsibility allowing the oil to release any water that has entered the gearbox

We’ve crafted Gear Oil 75W/85 GL-4 by blending specially treated base oils with exceptional oxidation resistance and incorporating advanced extreme pressure additives. This formula guarantees extended longevity for transmissions and drive lines. Moreover, its unique ‘stay-on’ characteristics effectively diminish noise in transmission drive lines, whether operating at low speeds with high torque, high speeds with low torque, or encountering shock loading situations. The inclusion of foam inhibitors prevents the usual foaming tendency in transmissions, which can lead to oil film degradation, ultimately resulting in inadequate gear lubrication and premature wear.

APPLICATIONS

Gear Oil 75W/85 GL-4 is suitable for use in GMH, Daihatsu, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Proton and other transmissions and transaxles requiring an API GL-4 SAE 75W/85 gear lubricant. It is also suitable for use in steering systems (non-power-assisted) for cars, commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles requiring the ZF TE-ML 08 performance level.
