PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Brake Fluid Dot 5 represents a top-notch silicone-based brake fluid intended for use in all hydraulic brake and clutch systems equipped with drum or disc brakes, excluding those utilizing LHM fluids. In contrast to DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids, DOT 5 stands out for being non-hygroscopic, offering superior thermal stability, and featuring higher dry and wet boiling points. This specially formulated brake fluid contains rust and chloride corrosion inhibitors, ensuring excellent protection. With a dry boiling point exceeding 260°C and a wet boiling point surpassing 180°C, it meets the highest performance standards.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Always consult your vehicle owner’s manual for the manufacturer‘s recommendations. Keep brake fluid clean and dry. Contamination with dirt, water, petroleum products or other materials may result in brake failure or costly repairs. Store brake fluid only in its original container. Keep container clean and tightly closed to prevent contamination. For best results, drain and replace the brake fluid once a year. Flush and refill system with fresh Silicone DOT 5 Brake Fluid. Bleed the hydraulic system as recommended by the manufacturer. Check and replace damaged seals and dust protectors if needed.
