Trans Final Drive SAE 60 has been specifically developed to fulfill the unique demands of final drives and axles that currently call for Caterpillar FD-1™ type oils, as well as applications necessitating Caterpillar TO-4™ oils, without the presence of friction materials.

Trans Final Drive SAE 60 is suitable for use in final drives, axles, differentials and drive wheels of equipment where Caterpillar FD-1™ performance fluid is specified such as heavy-duty off-highway haul trucks and wheeled and track-type tractors.
Unlike conventional fluids meeting Caterpillar TO-4™ type performance, Trans Final Drive SAE 60 is generally not suitable for powershift transmissions or for oil-immersed brakes or clutches due to different frictional characteristics. Trans SAE 10W, SAE 30 or ساي 50 should be considered for Caterpillar powershift transmissions, hydraulics and wet brake applications requiring Caterpillar TO-4™ type lubrication.
